San Francisco Paratransit Program Case Study

Challenge: Paratransit Statement
The San Francisco Paratransit Program  is designed to provide accessible, cost effective, public transportation to persons diagnosed with disabilities and the elderly.  Each participant in the Program must be screened and tested to assure that they are eligible to access the services.

Result: Result Statement
Through the training and management of support staff, the Paratransit Program has maximized the number of those eligible for the program.  Also, through additional logistical support, DAJA has helped to ensure timeliness of the vehicles and the safety of the riders.
